  1. This is the Debian GNU/Linux prepackaged version of the grep program.
  2. Currently Anibal Monsalve Salazar <anibal@debian.org> maintains the
  3. Debian GNU/Linux version of grep.

  6. Ryan M. Golbeck <rmgolbeck@debian.org>
  7. were the previous maintainers.

  9. This package was created from the grep sources as found on the GNU
  10. mirrors. grep.texi file was removed since it is not DFSG compliant
